CalSys, Inc, a provider of advanced system solutions for digital video surveillance and networked video communications, will unveil its new Zion Platform multi-channel digital video surveillance platform at Tokyo’s Security Show 2010 in Techwell Booth SS1224. Powered by CalSys’ patent-pending VClearTM and JSCATM Technologies, the Zion Platform achieves the highest possible compression ratio (up to 50 percent bit rate reduction) without degrading the visual experience.

The Zion Platform features an H.264 encoding/decoding capability of 720 frames per second at D1 resolution and the industry’s lowest encoding-decoding latency. It is configurable for DVR-, DVS-, NVR- or Hybrid DVR-systems, supports 1080p/720p IP cameras in both NVR and Hybrid DVR configuration, and provides reliable network transmission for any given network bandwidth. Zion integrates Techwell’s TW2880l video matrix and advanced OSG chip and Cavium Networks’s PureVu H.264 ASIC. The platform is available immediately to OEM/ODM customers, with turnkey solution also available.
